As a Buyer...
Who pays the Agents fee?
Generally, the Seller pays the commission (to the listing office which shares that fee with the selling office) so it is normally not a consideration in choosing an agent. There are some agents that operate from a Buyers/Broker model and they will collect a commission from the Buyer in the rare cases the Seller has no agreement to pay.
Can the Agent show me ANY and ALL properties available?
Our firm has access for our agents to BOTH Resale (through MLS) and New Homes (through SalesTraq), as well as access to multiple Foreclosure Property data bases.
What about financing?
Most lenders have access to most loan products - similar to an MLS for agents except for financing instead of houses. While you are free to shop for financing our firm has alliances with lenders that we believe offer excellent service at fair prices. Century 21 Mortgage features a "Phone-in, Move-in" service that has a Price Guarantee. Ask your agent about lenders.

1999 Advertising Tracking Study. This survey included 400 telephone interviews with a national random sample of adults who have bought or sold a home within the past two years or plan to purchase or sell a home within the next two years. The survey was conducted from February 11-14, 1999 and June 6-9, 1999 by Milward Brown, a leading research agency. Results from this survey have a 95% confidence interval of +/- 4.9%.
